Rumor mill spins newest tune: IPod will have video soon

Apple's hugely popular iPod digital music device could be in for another makeover - this time as a highly anti-cipated unit that plays both audio and video.

Apple sent invitations Tuesday for a media event in San Jose, Calif., next week, and analysts and bloggers guessed that a video iPod was imminent. Apple had no comment.

"By process of deduction, that's what it has to be," says securities analyst Charles Wolf at Needham & Co.

The invitation from Apple said simply: "One more thing..." (contribs: AP and Reuters)

Okay, if this really happens? Can you IMAGINE? Taking all your favorite vids to the gym with you so you can watch them while working out?!
