Spamalot for free! But very small!
Mar. 13th, 2007 12:04 pmFor those who want to see Spamalot, but don't want to fly to NYC and pay $100 a ticket, someone has a bootleg copy on YouTube, cut up into 14 pieces. This is not the best bootleg copy I've seen, but it is the whole show, and it's a gazillion times better than never seeing it at all.
The camcorder operator doesn't always understand that using zoom when you have a hot follow will give you detail instead of a white blur, and doesn't often pull back fast enough when a wide shot is the only thing that will show you what's funny, but it is the original cast - Tim Curry, Hank Azaria, David Hyde Pierce, Sara Ramirez, Michael McGrath, Steve Rosen, Christopher Sieber, and the impeccable Christian Borle (if you've never heard of some of these guys, you can get a cast listing here so you know who's playing whom during the show).
I suggest going now - never know when something will be bahleeted now that Googleplex owns YouTube.
