I am beginning to look forward to this film with far more enthusiasm than I had before. I think I'm slowly learning to employ elynross's trick of smoothly compartmentalizing my emotional connection to original sources from how I feel about their movie adaptations, to which I should have completely separate reactions because they are their own creatures.
