Cooking for one!

I might be late to the party on this, but if you are single and have a tough time managing food for one (making tasty-but-small meals, eating cheaply, how much to buy, how long it will keep, what to cook, etc.), there is a new lj community for you: 1_eats_cheap. It's bustling along and so far I'm finding it very informational! Of course, I know nothing about food or cooking, so anything would be informational.
