I was just thinking the same thing. Thank heavens House is back now.

Please, tell us how you really feel. *snicker* I'm giving it a wee bit more of a chance because of David Boreanaz, but... eh. It's something to have on in the background while I'm waiting for House.

It was definitely rough, but a lot of that struck me as fairly common pilot-itis, where everything gets over-explained. I was interested enough to tune in again; it might not go anywhere from here, but it might.

I'd heard horrible things, but I was hoping. It's not on here for another hour, and I think I'll still watch, because, Angel. But it's a shame. Looks like it could have been a decent role for Boreanez.

I found myself alternately drooling over DB and MST'ing the rest of it, including DB. "Thank you, Mr. Exposition." "It's only 9:30, and his 5 o'clock shadow's calling." "Have you seen my breastseseses?"

And? Three alterna-rock-pop songs in one ep? Puh-leeze.

I don't know if my insane attraction to the actor/character who looks vaguely like Angel can overcome my distaste for everything else, including stereotypical FBI boss, cutsie doctoral student, wise best friend, holograms, and DB in sunlight.

I have to say that the *four* musical montages really sealed the deal for me. Ugh.

What I want to know is is it just my tv or has DB always been a redhead?

I like the books the show is based on quite a bit, but from what I've seen so far, the adaptation is going to be cringe-worthy.

I haven't watched it yet, but from the promos, it seemed so different from the books, I'm not hopeful.

(Please forgive the bad sentence structure. Must go to sleep.)

I still can't get over what's-her-name (the lead) wearing bellbottoms and go-go boots, especially since she wore the boots to a funeral.

Yes.

I couldn't watch for more than ten seconds. I kept flipping away and flipping back, thinking it'd get better...

It didn't.

I actually didn't mind it, but then again, I was helping my roommate with 1700+ envelopes for a mass mailing that none of the docents at her museum (who *demanded* that it be done) bothered to help with. So she stuffed, I sealed, and we weren't exactly ~concentrating~ on it or anything. :->

And I am sad, because my roommate has never seen House, so it's still on the TIVO. We tried to watch Supernatural & she hated it, so I ended up putting in Due South. Alas - I am still House-less!
