Universal plans to begin releasing the brilliant series EZ Streets to dvd.
For those unfamiliar with the show, this was Paul Haggis's next tv series after due South and it was, quite frankly, brilliant. I can't recommend it highly enough. Ken Olin, Linda Fiorentino, Jason Gedrick, and Joe Pantoliano (Joey Pants!!). More info at the link.
I can't imagine this is due to Universal realizing that the show deserves an audience, but rather to Paul Haggis's recent big-screen successes as writer and director (Million Dollar Baby, Crash), but I'll take it any way I can get it!

Date: 2006-03-04 12:04 am (UTC)Sorry, excited. I LOVED this show! It was shown on Trio about 2 years ago and I saved every episode to DVD, but there were bugs and some bad cuts and they aired one episode twice and another didn't get shown (I found out too late to reprogram the Tivo), so I'm thrilled out of my gourd to hear this.
I'm still pissed that it was canceled so soon.
