Meme time, again...
My Leo -
1) Had to be asked three times before he became a godfather.
2) Wishes he could go back and accept the first two times.
3) Believes, on his less charitable days, that the country could do much worse than Jed Bartlet, Dictator for Life.
4) Does not remember being face-down in a motel parking lot; he only knows what happened because Jed told him.
5) Knows he will never truly retire.
6) Does not speak a foreign language.
7) Struggled with the Latin in law school.
8) Started smoking in Viet Nam.
9) Quit smoking when he found Mallory chewing on one of his cigarettes.
10) First saw Jenny when she was on a date with someone else.
11) Got hooked on Valium not long after Jenny brought a prescription home from the hospital when Mallory was born.
12) Likes Josh more than he ever liked Noah, but will never tell Josh that.
13) Has the occasional sexual fantasy about Margaret.
14) Same with C.J.
15) Never has sexual fantasies about Donna.
16) Envies Jed his faith, but does not wish for it.
17) Has never, not even once, wanted to be President.
18) Keeps his pilot's license current. You never know.
19) Dislikes Republicans, in general, more than Jed does.
20) Prefers baths to showers, because he can read in them.
21) Is not vain about his hairline.
22) Is vain about his waistline.
23) Felt disloyal to Jed every time he visited Jed at his parents' because, while he believed everything Jed told him about his father, the man was always perfectly pleasant in his presence.
24) Cannot draw. All of his doodles are words.
25) Wishes he could see language the way Toby sees it, but wouldn't want to live in Toby's head.
26) Shares one secret with Abbey that Jed will never know.
27) Loves his nieces and nephews, but in a distant, affable-yet-not-really-involved way.
28) Knows all of the characters and tropes from Peanuts; just likes to wind Jed up sometimes.
29) Keeps the best straight face of anyone he knows and uses it to his advantage.
30) Is more comfortable arguing with Nancy McNally when Fitz is present.
31) Thinks that the White House Movie Theater is the best perq of his job.
32) Doesn't consciously make an effort to arrive first and leave last; it just happens that way.
33) Blames himself for Jed's bullet wound.
34) Knows that is nonsensical.
35) Has found that long practice of pushing his desire for a drink out of his mind has made him better at compartmentalizing, and therefore better at his job.
36) Never again bought suits off the rack after his first visit to a tailor.
37) Would have liked more than one child, then.
38) Is glad he didn't have more than one child, now.
39) Is looking forward to helping Jed with his memoirs.
40) Wonders why the people he loves most in his life are all teachers.

And still have lingering hopes that someone will produce some Jed/Leo for your birthday. In a public kind of place.
