It is cancelled. NBC decided it was its last year a few months ago, before John Spencer died. Four more episodes.

Do you know, every time I see people rhapsodize about this show, I agree with all of it ... except the Josh/Donna thing. I get that all the shippers were rejoicing that finally etc., but there always seems to be an implication that West Wing Fans, en masse, were delighted and triumphant and all that, which is not only not the case, but actually the opposite of true. I can't be the only person who was actually a fan of Josh and Donna not getting together, can I? The anti-shipper?

Considering how I'm aging away from the tv demographic, it will also probably be the last series I follow regularly.
