Don't worry; I'm not going to give away the title.

I know the parodies are flying fast and loose, but if you're looking for an ongoing thread that may ultimately have you weeping with laughter, Metafilter is all over it.

A warning for those who never tread in Metafilter's waters -- there is never a thread without *some* people trying to ruin the fun or looking down on the topic or whatever, but you can easily ignore them. Also there are those who fight back with "Harold Bloom can suck it" and so forth. And, of course, Metafilter in-jokes. But really, 95% of the thread is parody titles.

That one made me laugh especially hard, not just because it is awesome, but because about eleven years ago whatssnoo and I were plotting out a Wild Wild West story - you have to understand that every single episode of Wild Wild West was something like "Night of the Deadly Bed" or "Night of the Tottering Tontine" or "Night of the Flaming Ghost" - and our working title was "Night of the Adjective Noun".

According to the commentary on the SG-1 discs, most of their episodes start out titled "Stuff Happens". I've taken to alternatively titling my writing projects with that, the other title in use is "No Commercial Potential".
