"not impressed" doesn't even begin to cover how I felt about the US promo. This is SO MUCH BETTER.

So at least there's one promo department out there who has some vague clue how to promote the show. I think SciFi's promo dept. are on drugs, or something. And not good drugs.

Thank you for that -- it was definitely more interesting than I expected. If I wrote the show, Laura would threaten to put people out the airlock every single week. And I even have a list of people for her to start with. *G*

Canada, man - every year it looks better and better.

I read a piece of fanfiction wherein the viper pilots gave Roslin an honorary call sign - "Airlock". I want a "GO TEAM AIRLOCK" t-shirt or something, because Roslin is far and away my favorite character on the show.

I'm so hoping this ridiculous "you stole my boyfriend OMG" high-school drama will play itself out quickly and we can get back to the BSG that gives us things like Helo shooting his wife in the chest while holding her in his arms and Roslin freaking the fuck out while having Baltar dragged to his impending doom. Now *that's* comedy!

All I can remember about the SciFi promo was ... that it was imminently forgettable. And I just watched the tape the other night, even.
