I was hoping Claire's dad would be Linderman, but they oversold it too much all over the place for it not to have been Nathan. I hate the promo department.

And I don't really have a problem with Mr. Nakamura showing up - this isn't something that could have been done over the phone.

I completely agree with you that that situation isn't something you do over the phone, but I would've been happier if Mr. Nakamura had shown up for more than *two* episodes. Because George Takei is made of awesome, and him speaking Japanese is even MORE awesomes.

I read in an interview with Takei that James Kyson Lee is Korean, and has had to learn all of his Japanese lines phonetically...Takei was pretty impressed with him. Also that he and Masi Oka conversed in Spanish the whole time they were on-set.
