       * nor is it "We Have Nothing to Fear But Fear Itself. And Cylons."
       * nor is it "I Told You So."
       * I am not allowed to suggest any more slogans for President Roslin's Re-Election Campaign.

• prep for Oscar party (and by "prep", I mean "watch shrift bake and cook and mash up avocados and so forth")
  
  
• do some homework (Spanish, Eng. Lit., TESL, Am. History, Grad. Independent Study - Pick ONE, for Chrissake)
  
  
• go through all syllabi and mark out all due dates in both academic datebook and cell phone calendar
  
  
• check availability of summer session classes
  
  
• sign up for tap class
  
  
• reply to Yuletide stories comments (yes, I am that far behind [and by 'far behind', I mean 'lame'])
  
  
• reply to ever-growing list of lj comments sitting in my inbox
  
  
• download any missing episodes of current tv shows
  
  
• drop off dry cleaning (include down comforter (thanks, Artemis) and have new pants tailored at the same time
  
  
• vote on Tuesday (Mayor Richard Daley: I'm Corrupt, But Hell, It's Chicago)
  
  
• figure out how the fuck to properly compress imported Wiseguy episodes from the arcs not available on DVD
  
  
• continue to rid my home of things I have not even looked at in more than two years (wtf *IS* that thing, anyway?)
  
  
• move growing list of addresses and cell numbers from random sticky-notes to cell phone
  
  
• file taxes (augh)
  
  
• find magically available reserves of cash to invest in business cards and fliers for start-up private ballroom dance instruction (income needed; flexible hours a plus)
  
  
• make a list of handy-type things which need to be done around the house
  
  
• figure out how to get them done
  
  
• sell plasma to buy new laptop
  
  
• learn S2 for lj and convert lj; learn tweaks and make them
  
  
• tag all entries (this will be on-going -- probably until I die)
  
  
• learn more about making icons
  
  
• make icons
  
  
• sort through the rest of my papers (in boxes under my bed and shoved into book cubicles)
  
  
• take all useless documents / very old check duplicates to a shredding company
  
  
• import all the left over cds (the ones that are private recordings *not* in the CDDB, and therefore requiring that I enter all track info manually - oy) to iTunes
  
  
• continue organizing del.icio.us account (why don't they just have sub-folders? WHY!?)
  
  
• buy offspring-to-be gifts for ... three? friends
  
  
• watch at least one hour of the 14 hours of tv on the TiVo (omg so behind on Veronica Mars)
  
  
• lose fifty pounds (goes on every list; never gets done)
  
  
• negotiate with financial aid officer about amount of school loan
  
  
• argue with parental units about supplementing school loan
  
  
• vid

and finally -

• stop fantasizing about Roslin/Adama (or, alternately, Sam/Gene) long enough to get at least one thing on this list *finished*.
