I used to have a pet rabbit that chewed on power cables. One Easter many years ago, the rabbit chewed through the refrigerator cable, and my mom had to call an emergency repair service. It was March 31st, and she had to do ten rounds of "No, it's not an April Fool's joke, and it's not the Easter Bunny," with the dispatcher before he sent out a repair person.
HEE! Yeah, rabbits are notorious for chewing on cables. I've often thought that my next pet will be a rabbit, but I look around at *all* the cables in my house and thing what a project it would be to wrap them all in those plastic white tubing things.
That rabbit wasn't exactly a pet. I had asked my parents for a guinea pig, and they figured a rabbit would be close enough, but this thing was like the Chuck Norris of rabbits. It bit four of my babysitters in the course of its life, plus it killed a neighbor's cat. So I can't quite join you in the "BUNNIES YAY" sentiment.
