1) I love you guys. I slept for 12 hours. I took an exam. I have a sinus headache, my period, and canker sores (discovered yesterday that canker sores can be brought on by stress and menstruation. Gee, interesting.) I have cocoa. jacquez says custard sounds good, and I agree. I want my cat to come sit in my lap. I don't feel well. Did I mention the part where I love you guys?

2) There is a Fandom Blue Book Exam online that I'm sure many of you have seen already, but if you haven't, you should. Do not drink liquids while reading.

I liked House this week, but I had no idea that the patient was played by Dave Matthews. He *was* very good. And any episode that has Hugh Laurie playing the piano gets 2 thumbs up from me.

Canker sores can be helped by two things, in my sad, sad experience:

1. Doxycycline. How awesome is it that there's a med that's got Doxies in it? (/silly) This should only be resorted to if you've got more than two, because it's a "big cannon" antibiotic & will suck the life force out of you. But you'll be able to eat.

2. Pre-shelled sunflower seeds. Much healthier, cheaper, and tasty. "David" brand seems particularly effective. If you already have a canker, chew some seeds up and smoosh the mash against the sore spot for a minute. Lather, rinse, repeat a couple of times. Seriously, when I have a half-handful as a snack each day I go months (months!) without getting sores. It's not the salt, because other nuts don't do the trick.
