Record from your LPs and cassettes to CD-R !

Brookstone has a turntable with a built-in CD recorder. You'd think someone would have put one of these out before! It also plays (and records) cassettes. Plus it plays cds, and has an AM/FM radio. And it's *lovely* to look at.

Ooh! It plays 78s! I so need to get this for my dad! He bought a new turntable a few years ago to transfer his vinyl to CD, but it only played 33 1/2 and 45s, and he has a bunch of old 78s! Plus it looks easy! I'm so going to have to get this for him for Christmas or Father's Day this year.

But! You can record cassettes from an external source - I just happen to have a separate cassette recorder from when I was building a music center.

Oh, I am *SO* getting one of those. Maybe the cheaper one -- I actually have my cassette deck hooked up to my computer right now so I can do some conversion. Not that I've actually gotten off my butt and *done* it, mind you. :->
