I took two final exams today, and I'm on a total exam-taking high! I love to take tests! I am not at all fond of studying, but I LOVE TESTS!

When I got home, I logged on and discovered that a site I frequent has completely rewritten their FAQ from the bottom up. I grabbed a Coke out of the fridge and settled down to read the *whole new FAQ*. WHEEEEE -- leisure reading!

And I have another exam TOMORROW!!!

Oh, that's such a lovely thing to say. It's true we don't really see each other much anymore, Grad school is kicking my butt and I'm not online nearly as often -- have you been hanging out on line much, or has RL been keeping you busy too?

Real life is kicking my ass! I'm hoping that once Anniversary Weekend is over! on May 14th, I'll be able to salvage some semblance of a life, but right now it's all wrangling staff, volunteers, VIPs, media and of all the stupid things--sewing! I'm trying to make doublets for my staff that don't have them and won't get them from costuming before the big event. Which is crap, but that's another rant. *g*

I want you to show me the joy and wonder of Battlestar Gallactica later this summer if either of us have time to breathe. I'm going to hunt you down. :)

You have no idea! It's been unbelievable and that's at least a 20 minute rant if you're interested. I'll be happy to froth at the mouth at you over it when I see you at VividCon. *g*

Why do you like exams? I always rather liked writing exams, but I found that anticipating them ahead of time was nerve-wracking.

Oh, anticipating them can be awful. But *taking* them is so much fun. I just love taking tests -- it's fun like crossword puzzles are fun or pictionary or trivial pursuit or ... just -- figuring things out, putting ideas together, surprising yourself... I dunno! Tests! Woo-hoo!

I agree absolutely. Once I got my teeth into a good answer to an essay question - or once I got going on any kind of series of questions, true or false, or whatever - yes, that was fun, that was like doing a puzzle, and I could really strut my stuff. If I didn't know it well enough, I was still really good at bluffing and guessing.

But the days of horror beforehand - I don't miss that!
