Only spoilery in the most mild sense of the word - but the good news is that words and phrases like "total romp", "shameless fun", "hysterically funny", and "sword fight between Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp!" are employed.

I can't believe I'm looking forward to this movie. I was the first to pipe up with "Well, *that's* gonna suck" back when it was announced. Then I saw the trailer, and said, "Okay, it could be fun, in a stupid kind of way..."

Instead of eating my words, I think I'll have a giant tub of popcorn on opening night.

Since they're also releasing a movie titled "Haunted Mansion" (also based on one of their rides), I'm wondering if the casting and promotion of it is going to be as brilliant. Really, I have a feeling we're going to be seeing articles in newspapers about what a shocking success Pirates turned out to be. *g*
