twitter subscribers?

Any of you twitter users out there -- have you managed to get the chat version to work? That is, your twitter feed is updated through a chat window, rather than on your cell phone or an rss reader?

I've got tweets popping up in the bottom of firefox thanks to the twitterfox extension. But I'm not sure that's what you're looking for.

I got it to work through IM but if I remember correctly it took many tries to get twitter to acknowledge my verification (and then I decided I didn't like it much anyway.) I've never gotten it to work with my phone.

They've had all sorts of trouble on their end with the chat client -- I'd stick to updating from the phone, or Twitterific on a Mac.
