1) Looking for clips in an episode but forgetting to mute, so you get caught up in the plot and then it's 43 minutes later and you forgot to, oh yeah, look for clips.

2) Watching other people's vids for free-association inspiration and then searching gnutella for an hour for other songs by that cool band that one vidder used in that one vid.

3) Spilling hard cider all over your desk.

Yes, a productive holiday all around.
