Your moment of cognitive dissonance.
Jul. 8th, 2003 06:11 pmAll day today, my email has been pretty much folks asking for gay pants icons. Which is cool - I'm in the groove, I'm cranking out the icons, coming up with fun captions, looking for photos, etc., all while doing Real Life work, so I go in and out of the Gay Pants mindset. And it becomes a Pavlovian thing, so that when the email alert sounds, my brain goes "someone wants gay pants!" and gets into the mode.
So, around 6pm the alert goes off, I pull up Eudora to see who has sent me a gay pants icon request.
It's Howard Dean.
Yeah, it took me a few seconds to make sense of that.

Date: 2003-07-08 07:01 pm (UTC)I've been thinking that I'd enjoy a Gay Sentinel Pants icon, but I'm not sure what image to use (except that, obviously, the gay pants are Jim's). I know there's an amazing shot of him cooking in a flowered apron, but I'm not sure his pants are visible...sigh.
