Starting around thirty minutes into the Confidential, when you first see the table read, don't drink or eat. I'm laughing so hard my sides hurt.

Quick question: Is the Confidential spoilery for the finale at all?

That's a very good question. Um... only in a casting kind of way. No plot way that I've seen, but I'm not quite finished. Will let you know!

There is one moment of spoileriness, but it's casting spoilers and not plot spoilers.

Thank you! I think I can handle a casting spoiler, I just didn't want anything else. :-)

Hmm, I don't usually download confidentials, but I might make an exception for this one. :D

actually this is one of the more shitty confidentials that I've seen - just that bit at 30-odd minutes in for a few minutes is hilarious.

Other confidentials are MUCH more entertaining.

Which episode is this Confidential for?

4x12. Most Confidentials I love-- this one's a bit crap until 30 minutes in, imo.

I was laughing at that part, but probably not for the same reasons you were. Chris Chibnall calling the Dalek voice "chilling" almost made me spit coffee on my computer. No offense to Nick Briggs. Just not a fan of the Daleks, and tired of the show telling me they're scary instead of showing me. But I did get a smile thinking about David Tennant getting a "frisson."

I was laughing because the cast was laughing so hard. And when he said "everybody join in" or whatever it was. Just a hoot.

And yeah, the Daleks don't particularly scare me. I think a lot of it comes from never having watched as a kid. If I had, they'd probably scare me shitless.

See, even the cast can't keep a straight face through another round of "Exterminate!" *wink*

And yeah, I agree with you about not having watched as a kid. I was thinking about the mechanical Dalek voice and how back in the day that must have seemed very new and other-ish. But for me I always associate it with eighties hip-hop groups like Skorpio, and doing The Robot. So I think I'm always expecting the Daleks to "rock their bodies on the dance floor, babaaay."

"DALEKS DO NOT POP AND LOCK."

Inside their metal shells, where no one can see, they do.

That's so wrong I don't even know what to do with it.

Daleks that can secretly bust a move while shouting "EXTERMINATE!" is the kind of multitasking the world can do without.

Omg, someone needs to make a vid of that. Hell, they probably already have. But now I'm torn over whether the song should be "Scorpio" or "Bust a Move".
