Last Night's South Park; change.gov
Nov. 7th, 2008 02:13 pmI cannot believe how fast the guys at South Park work. This episode mocks Obama supporters and McCain supporters equally, and then takes a completely non-political twist into... let's just say, I'll never think of a certain fan-favorite movie the same way again.
Check it out here. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
And just in case anyone reading hasn't seen this, check out change.gov. I cannot even believe how amazing this site is. Just... amazing. Browse around--you'll find things like this:
Obama will bring democracy and policy directly to the people by requiring his Cabinet officials to have periodic national broadband townhall meetings to discuss issues before their agencies.Undoubtedly not all of his agenda will come to pass, but *some* of it will. And we have a President-Elect who *wants* these things, and understands them.
Obama will not sign any non-emergency bill without giving the American public an opportunity to review and comment on the White House website for five days.
Obama and Biden will create a centralized Internet database of lobbying reports, ethics records, and campaign finance filings in a searchable, sortable and downloadable format.
Obama and Biden believe teachers should not be forced to spend the academic year preparing students to fill in bubbles on standardized tests. He will improve the assessments used to track student progress to measure readiness for college and the workplace and improve student learning in a timely, individualized manner. Obama and Biden will also improve NCLB's accountability system so that we are supporting schools that need improvement, rather than punishing them.
Barack Obama strongly supports the principle of network neutrality to preserve the benefits of open competition on the Internet.
