I don't think I've done a meme in a while, and a friend posted this one with "if you want to do this, consider yourself tagged," so I figured what the hey.

What are your nicknames?
Alas, my name does not lend itself to nicknames except two different short versions of my first name, both of which I despise, and so no one (outside of my immediate family) calls me by those names. I've had online aliases that people have called me IRL, which I guess is the closest I've come to nicknames. In high school, my French teacher called me La Bouche, which will surprise no one who has ever met me.

What is your bedroom like?
Mission-style queen-size bed; burgundies, plums, and golds; lots and lots of books.

What's the last book you read?
Paper Towns, a wonderful YA novel by John Green.

What color shirt are you wearing now?
Chocolate brown. Mmmm, chocolate.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Dead center. Every time I've taken a Myers-Briggs over the past ten years, the result has been XNTJ.

LYNX, SUCKERS! AHAHAHAHA.

Do you nap a lot?
Yeah, now that I think about it. I used not to at all. I think having shrift as a roommate is creating a Nap Effect.

Rosie, a brand-new friend.

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
I had three: one was canceled, one finished airing, and one was a storyline that's over.

What are you currently reading?
Foe by J.M. Coetzee, an interesting semi-retelling of Robinson Crusoe.

Whatever I've got in the house.

If you could magically change careers, and be as successful in your new career as you are in your current one, what would you be?
Hm. Well, my current career is grad student, but since we're talking fantasy anyway, I wish I were back on stage.

Do you like to clean?
No. I do, however, like to organize.

What time is your usual bedtime?
It's all over the place, from 10pm to 3am. I really want to get myself on a routine bedtime.

Video iPod.

What is your favorite weather?
Sunny but breezy, somewhere in the high 60s/low 70s, no humidity.

What did you last laugh at?
I caught a bit of MST3K last night, and three people in the film were trying to escape from an Evil Compound of Evil. Crow said, "Let's slip away under cover of afternoon in the biggest car in the county!"

Where would you see yourself in ten years?
In a classroom, teaching teenagers about theater and literature.
