Sitting in American Literature this morning--the *entire campus* loses power. Darkness, except for some emergency lighting in the corridors. The prof says "Well, this is unacceptable." He says he'd like to continue the lecture in the dimness, and one student points out we can't take notes in the dark. I say, "Well... cell phones...." and the entire class pulls out their cell phones and powers them up. We all take notes by aiming our cell phones' screens at our notebooks.
