tzikeh: (battlestar galactica - frak - show)

All that is left now is the three-part finale. Part I airs this Friday, and Parts 2 & 3 air next Friday (check your TiVos for episode lengths, btw).

TV Guide has two different BSG covers this week.

Wow. Just... wow. it's over.

ETA: This Friday (the 13th, natch) is the first part of the three-part finale (Daybreak). Next Friday, the 20th, SciFi is running a most-of-season-four-marathon, leading up to the rest of the finale -- starting with the three final episodes of Season 4.0 (Sine Qua Non, Hub, and Revelations), and then continuing on in order with every episode from this last part of Season 4, up through repeating Daybreak Part 1, and then right into Daybreak, Parts 2 & 3. During the week, they will be airing something called "BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: THE LAST FRAKKIN' SPECIAL". I don't know what it is. I do know I'll be watching it.

Just hit SciFi's schedulebot and search for "Battlestar" to get the whole enchilada.

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your TiVos.

I can't quite believe it, myself. I've been enjoying this season so much! Too much to post about, apparently, but I'm gonna try and get something out for the last three hours, anyway.

Holy frak!

Holy frak, indeed. Just... the current interviews with the cast (which I know are not your thing) are mostly about everyone bursting into tears at inappropriate moments. I have a feeling I'll be doing that too, on the next two Friday evenings.

Oh yeah, I expect to get teary, too. Especially if certain people die, which I'm expecting they will.

At this point I wouldn't put money on *anyone* living or dying. I have no idea what is going to happen. I have educated guesses, but everything I think could be wrong, too. And that's one of the things that has always been, for me, a huge plus with this show. There are two standard reactions I'm nearly guaranteed to have during pretty much any episode of BSG:

Version 1: "Well, that was unexpected."

Version 2: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! Well, THAT was unexpected!"

Hee! That means a lot, coming from you, as you tend to be able to predict other shows/movies/etc. with frightening accuracy.

Great icon!!

I have been wanting to make a Roslin icon for... at least a year now, of her being sworn in from waaaay back in the mini-series, with the lyric from Avenue Q as text:

"What do you do with a B.A. in English?"

I suppose I could still make it, but right now I'm just going to wait and see how this all plays out.

I thought of you when I made this icon. I figured combining TWW and BSG made me happy, and it might make you happy, too. Plus it comes in useful as a ::facepalm:: icon.

Also, P. makes frequent references to "The year spent in Baltar's hair."

I love your idea for the Roslin icon, but I can understand wanting to wait until we know where this is going.

EJO can wear trouser jeans anytime he likes. It would have been nice to have had more covers, though - with the Tighs and the Fightin' Agathons and so on. Ah, well. I can't complain--they're on the motherfrakkin' cover of TV Guide!

SHOOOW!!

Don't know how many of them were available for photo shoot and TV Guide might not have wanted to do too many versions. Oh well. Those we got are awesome and it's not just the young 'uns!

I don't want it to end and want to know how it ends at the same time. It's going to kill me.

Back in January there was a two-page spread of the whole cast (this was an ad for the second half of the season) in the New Yorker. Yes, the New Yorker. I was at my parents when I saw and I started screaming 'OMG OMG' and they were all 'what the hell is wrong with you?'. Yeah.

HEE! Was it the Last Supper one, or was it simply a publicity shoot?

During the week, they will be airing something called "BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: THE LAST FRAKKIN' SPECIAL".

Aw -- up here we get the same lineup of reruns and finale(s), but they're calling that bit just "Battlestar Galactica Finale Special." It lacks a certain je ne sais la fracque quoi, don't you think?

Oh my God I'm using that phrase forever now.

FRACQUE!
