The clearest, smartest article on the Amazon debacle I've seen

The Guardian lays out the facts with a well-researched, detailed article on the entire situation, and explains the seeming randomness of the removal of rankings--e.g. Stephen Fry's autobiography Moab Is My Washpot, in hardcover, is still ranked, because Amazon categorizes it as "memoir". However, the paperback edition is categorized as "gay", and now has no sales ranking. These are Amazon's official categories, not customer tags.
