I've gotten myself into a serious (really, really serious) time crunch on a unit plan assignment. This is a post for anyone who has ever created a two-to-three week unit plan for a single text for a high-school or college class. Extra helpful if you've taught literature or theater, specifically Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.

Also, you should be able to access irc, or be willing to follow my really really easy instructions and use Mibbit, which connects you to the irc server and channel of your choice via your web browser.

Finally, you should have the free time, and desire *g*, to spend time in a chat room on Wednesday evening, and/or Thursday at any time during the day or evening, and/or Friday morning.

I have a massive unit plan draft due, and my time management in this particular class has been HORRENDOUS. (To be a little less hard on myself, they scheduled one of the most work-intensive College of Education courses during the shortened summer session--and for only one-half of the session at that.)

I can hand it to my prof Thursday late afternoon, or email it Thursday night--or last-ditch on Friday morning. The final version is due on Monday, and I need to get feedback on the draft in order to complete the final product.

What I need--what I would grovel at your feet and owe you forever for--is a few people who know what they're doing to join an irc chat with me to help me hash out all of the details of the unit plan. I will upload the assignment explanation, the supplementary detail documents, the various examples of what is required, for you to look over if you can. I can explain what I have, and where I think I'm going, and all that stuff. I am only looking for brainstorming and assistance, not for anyone to do any of the actual work for me.

The reason I'm so desperate is that this class is a prerequisite for clinical observations, which are only offered in Fall semesters. Clinical observations are prerequisites for student teaching, and student teaching is the last thing you do before you can get your degree and certification. If I don't successfully complete this class, I will not be able to do my clinicals this September. I'll have to wait until next September--2010, and then complete my student teaching in Spring of 2011.

I do not have the drive, or the stamina, or the mental strength, or the money to wait a year, and then do another year of school.

If you can help, you have no idea what it would mean to me.
