Poll about a poll

I know money can often be a sticky discussion point for people, but I'm curious about tipping habits around the U.S. (sorry to be U.S.-centric, but tipping is so different in Europe).

I'd like to do a poll about various types of tipping vis-a-vis location. I will not ask about income.

I, the mad and sometimes salacious punster, remember the fun days when nicetits.org was the domain of the Royal Tit-Watching (Ornithological) Society of Britain.

That domain was apparently let go, and has become something else entirely, and thus I did not make an active link thereto because IT IS NO MORE. It has ceased to be. It has rung down the curtain and joined The Choir Invisi-bule.
