Well, the natural speculation is hard drugs, which she is rumored to have been into. But I guess we'll know when we know.

My immediate response was, "Anorexic and bulimic, was she?" I mean, it's been 27 years since Karen Carpenter died (at age 32), and it's been almost inevitable.
