Yes, my children, it's slash fiction set during the Holocaust. You know--THAT Holocaust. The Holocaust that helps two white boys to find true love.

Yeah, it's just a somewhat vague fantasy from start to finish. I think that's what really sets me off. She didn't care about the true human cost of the things she wrote about; she was just describing, in loving detail, what horrors the faceless, nameless and voiceless demonic captors (a favorite Nazi trope, that one - personally I always found it much scarier that these things were done by normal human beings) perpetrated upon her heroes. It's not even much of a narrative, it's just torture, torture, more torture, a meta-dig at anti-gay sentiment (a case of "omg stop being on my side, you make my side look bad") and "yay cameo of other band members as rescuing heroes".
