watch .avi files on a PS3?
Feb. 12th, 2011 03:53 pmAnyone out there have a PS3 they watch .avi files on? If not .avi, then what kind of codec and/or file formats work? Can you watch from a USB stick as well as a burned DVD-R?
ETA:The folks I'm doing this for are not tech-savvy, so I really need answers to these questions, and not suggestions for alternatives. Many thanks!

Husband says the PS3 supports many different types of avis nativley.
