Um, I am easily amused, and apparently totally missing the point of what this featurette is trying to sell to me.

I'm really glad your posting this stuff, because apparently I'm missing everything that comes from tumblr.

I know what you mean- it is funny when you see Bilbo fighting off one of the Mirkwood nasties, except said nasty's being played by a dude in a bright green unitard and balaclava.

Still can't get over Bilbo's dressing-gown, either.

I'm bad at the whole thing where actors portray characters.

Ooh, neat stuff to learn about filming in 3D!

Indeed! I knew that RED cameras were the next big thing in digital filming, but Peej really is using them to their fullest, it seems.

Also, my chapeau is doffed to the two artists actually *storyboarding* in 3D - that takes some guts, and probably helps the movie work in 3D, rather than being a 2D concept reworked into the third dimension.
