Things to remember when packing, part 1

2) Do not get freaked out by all the random detritus in your life and wind up stuck in the "I have no idea how to pack all these important yet obscure pieces of paper / small glass boxes I use for nothing / aliens in soap, or even if I should" brain-freeze; just pack everything you can pack easily (books, tapes, cds, appliances), *then* go through the other, random stuff.
3) If you must pack tools such as screwdrivers and measuring tape, pack them at the very top of a clearly labeled box. You *will* need them at least one more time.
