No LotR trilogy tickets - and here's why

I was going to regale everyone with the horror of my day, but the same damned thing happened to many, many other people as well. Here is what happened to me, only mine has a crappy ending.

Simply replace her happy ending with "and then I said 'fuck it' and watched Jake 2.0 on my TiVo", and you've got my day.

It was incredibly poorly organized and handled. I wonder if they had ANY idea how popular it would be? I can't imagine they did; if they had they'd have gone through a service that could handle it, like Ticketmaster or something.
