Severe Lack of Escapade

I will not be attending Escapade this coming February. I'm kinda regretful about the decision, but I want to save as much money as I can this coming year, and with the increase in living expenses and the need for a car purchase, extra plane tickets and travel expenses are going to have to go by the wayside. I've rolled my membership over to 2005, so I'll only be missing this year, if all goes according to plan.

Sigh.

Phoo. I feel so uncertain about my working/money life all the time that even though I want to go back to v-con, I may not get to, so that'll be forever till the next Escapade.

I won't be able to make it, either, for similar reasons. It's that "80% salary while on sabbatical" thing, which I can't exactly complain about, but it does mean no Escapade. Sigh.
