Does anyone have any recommendations for where people can buy sports bras and exercize clothing that isn't built for people who have *already lost all the weight*? Everywhere I go, workout clothing is for tiny people with flat stomachs, no asses, and no breasts to speak of. Their idea of "extra-large" drawstring pants are for extra-large Lilliputians.

I buy my sports bras at Title9:

I've found their sizes to be accurate. I've bought sports bras, and cotton work out shorts from them.

Yup, I agree. Title9. Sports bras for women of all sizes and workout intensities. Good stuff, Maynard.

Title 9 is good. On occasion I've gotten them at REI, also at places like Lord & Taylor or Hecht's when they have their lingerie sales, as I tend to be somewhere between sizes.

Also -- I've found decent sizes in workout clothing other than bras at Land's End. (Get a catalog and order by phone, and the people are endlessly helpful. They will tell you if sizes run large or small.)

I don't know how big you are chest-wise, but enell.com and Force 4 (available, i think, at figleaves.com) both have sports bras good for large boobs.

and yesterday i tried on a pair of XL yoga pants at Old Navy and they were seriously too big - I'm around a size 16-18, 200lbs.

I'm cheap. I go to Marshall's or TJ Maxx for general workout clothes; they have such a variety of brands that I can almost always find something that works. They have women's sizes, too.

For bras I go to Kohl's; if they're not on sale, they will be in five minutes! {g}

I'd say Walmart, Target, or Kmart. I got mine at Target, lo these many years ago.

My friends with boobage second the recommendation of Title 9 above.

The absolute best bras I've got are from Decent Exposures (http://www.decentexposures.com). Not specifically for sports, but they are supportive. Also, many colours, custom sizes, and no wires! You can even get different cup sizes per side, or shorter straps, or whatever, and they'll make the adjustments free of charge.

Definitely seconding those who have recommended Decent Exposures. Great company, and a huge range of bra styles and sizes.

Making it Big is another woman-run company, with good workplace ethics and the clothes last forever. All the clothing is sized for large women, and they have some limited exercise/active wear. Look under either active & swimwear, or under essentials.

You may also want to check out Junoia, although I suspect that you're at the bottom of their sizes at most.

Well, Target (and Wal-mart and even Sears) have workout clothes for all-sizes. I've gotten several cotton stretchy sports bras there over the years that have held together just great, with the added bonus of not costing a fortune.

(completely unrelated: what's that song about the dead Canadians in WWI buried in France? I'm going crazy trying to rememebr the name and teh band, but as my Loop spoundtrack is currently 3000 miles away, can't find it...)

The song is called VIMY, by a group called Tanglefoot.

I tried Target - nothing. Bleah.
