One Year Ago Today

In my lj, one year ago today, I mourned the loss of Fred Rogers, I gave translations of the Elvish in my Escapade intro vid (luithio lin palanlamath: "turn off your cell phones"), and I had an "ask me anything" poll up.

jorit's question asking me to explain how vids are art. I feel bad about that, but I am also a shallow amateur when it comes to in-depth artistic explanations, and the more I watch and study vids, the more I realize I know almost nothing at all. Ain't it always the way? jorit, I point you toward those who are more eloquent than I -- heres_luck, sisabet, sockkpuppett, to name three.
But, since anniversaries are about repetition, let's do it again.
