It's Not Looking Good for the Loop House.

So, yeah, it was probably a pipe dream anyway, but I'm not really going to be able to buy my wonderful apartment that I've lived in for seven years. It's going condo, and it's just too much, especially for a first purchase.

I'm pretty emotional about it - I've lived here longer than any other place except my childhood home (which didn't exactly feel warm and loving), so this has really been *my house* for much of my adult life. I'm dismayed to have to move - and I don't think that the roommates will be staying together either, due to various financial, emotional, and life-changing circumstances. But. Life goes on; it's *hardly* the end of the world.

So, who knows what will happen now. Our lease is up Oct. 1. I'm sure y'all will be kept posted.

Sigh.

This special “Inside the Actors Studio” celebrates the career and craft of the actor who has played an integral part of the film and television world for more than four decades. He has earned an Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards for his work, including the role of President Bartlet on “The West Wing.”
