Birthday-type post

Caveat Lector – I know there are lots of folks who think the “It’s my birthday, here’s what I’d like” posts are shameless. That’s cool. For my own part, I like to see my friends post about what they’d enjoy for their birthdays, and I like posting mine. There’s absolutely no pressure to do anything or buy anything for me, just as I feel no pressure to do/buy for others when I see these kinds of posts. But I find that it’s easier, if I want to do something for someone's birthday, to know what would be appreciated.

My birthday is coming up on May 31. The past 18 months have kinda sucked (a long story for another post, at some point), so any and all drabbles, double-drabbles, 40,000 word stories (or, you know, 30,000 - whatever) are welcome on that day, as well as dirty jokes, warm hugs, llamas, smiles, good wishes, heroin-flavored lip balm (*waves at flambeau - I still have the vanilla!*), or any other various and sundry fan-type gifts.

If you are demented interested enough to take on fanfiction, here are my current fandoms (groupings are included only for those who want to write romance/sex; I’m also a gen fan):

While Amazon often charges more than other places on the web, you can always look and then go get it way cheaper somewhere else. ;)

There needs to be more Alma/Al fanfic. There needs to be any Alma/Al fanfic. They're two of the most powerful forces in town! Their rooms face each other across the causeway! They battle over Seth's time! Come on.

New one today. Some gen, some not. Definitely check out her other work in BSG, too; she did a couple of View from the Gallery-type stories early in the show's run which I loved.

Yeah - I was into Roslin/Lee a bit at the beginning, but I've moved on. :-D My Fandom is Middle-Aged.

oh - interesting! I may do that - or just put my fandoms and groupings in place of my bio - so I can regularly update as I gain new fandoms / slide out of old ones.
