That whole "seeing a doctor who believes autism is real, and not something you can cure with vitamins" probably looks a whole lot clearer in hindsight now that your son is dead, doesn't it?

I'm especially fond of how, in the midst of your grief, the Church interrogated you and your wife about whether your "negative energy" might have caused your son's death.

Take what's left of your family and GET THE FUCK AWAY from these horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE people. You've suffered enough at their hands.

I understand where the worry would come from where, yeah, okay, coming out in Hollywood sucks, but:

a.) It's getting better. I mean, coming out's not perfect, obviously, but it wouldn't be as bad as the CoS implying they're shitty parents.
b.) He's been married for, like, a century in Hollywood years.
c.) He's been in musicals. One of which he was in drag.
d.) He's up against Scientology, ffs. He could come out and say, "They were going to blackmail me over a hitchhiker I killed in 1982!" and 99% of the population would be, "Those assholes! Where do those creepy fucks get off turning you in for something as harmless as murdering a hitchhiker?!" (Okay, so maybe not that, but still ...)

Well, he's been "married". He was still single at 37 when the whole "Um, haven't you been involved with a male porn star for a while?" thing hit and then, SUDDENLY!! he was engaged. Took them two years to "get married."

Oh ugh, Church of Scientology. They were strongly implicit in a suicide of a Norwegian girl last year and the more I hear about them, the less I like. Which is fairly impressive since my opinion was way down there to begin with.
