Al Franken is in the building -- he's in Chicago on his book tour, and between appearing at Borders downtown and Barnes and Noble in the suburbs, he stopped by to do a segment for our news program.

I got a hug from Al Franken. I so win.

Thanks for the heads up, but not only do I not have a vehicle, I gotta be here for the Cubs and TWW tonight.

I knew about him being in the city today, but it got wiped from my mind in the quest for playoff tickets this morning. ::sigh::

Ah! Cubs and WW. Gotcha. I'm getting the Wing on my TiVo, but having seen him here, I don't feel the need to book out to Skokie either.
